Description

Mr Hoppy, played by Dustin Hoffman, is a retired bachelor, who harbours a secret passion for his neighbour, the lovely Mrs Silver, Dame Judi Dench. Unfortunately she lavishes all her affection on another… Alfie, her pet tortoise. Mr Hoppy yearns to talk to Mrs Silver, but tongue-tied and shy, his attempts always end in disaster. Mrs Silver’s greatest wish is for her tortoise Alfie to grow a little bigger. All seems lost for Mr Hoppy until he has the brightest, most devious of ideas. Presenting some of the most beloved characters in children’s literature, Roald Dahl’s book of poems, Revolting Rhymes, offers a non traditional outcome. Instead of the classical too-sweet endings, this set of poems brings to life the all-time favorites with a much more modern perspective. In this short, Mexican young filmmaker Enrique Vargas Celis with a group of highschool talented artists, chose to present ‘Three Little Pigs’, with the traditional ‘I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house in’ but based on the delightful poem and conception of Roald Dahl. The apparent heroine who comes to rescue the youngest pig is Little Red Riding Hood, who will end up with a wolf’s fur coat and a lovely pigskin purse.

Plot Description

Plot Description

James’s happy life at the English seaside is rudely ended when his parents are killed by a rhinoceros and he goes to live with his two horrid aunts. Daringly saving the life of a spider he comes into possession of magic boiled crocodile tongues, after which an enormous peach starts to grow in the garden. Venturing inside he meets not only the spider but a number of new friends including a ladybug and a centipede who help him with his plan to try and get to New York.
