“Great Glass Elevator” Movie? – Relax, it’s not really happening. But I did get an e-mail from Kevin Karstens, who creates parody/imaginary film trailers for fun. Bandwidth Thieves! – Just so you know, I’ve been going through my website logs looking for other sites that have linked directly to my images. When people do this, it means I have to pay for their bandwidth, which means they’re effectively stealing from me. I’ve currently modified my server to reject all such requests. I hate to be so harsh, but people need to realize that I’m just one person doing this site, and that I’m not a big company that can afford to shell out so much for hosting. If you’d like to use graphics from my site, please read this to make sure you’re doing it correctly. Thanks!

Movies – It seems that the upcoming 30th anniversary DVD re-release of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory will only contain a “pan-and-scan” version of the film. This means that it will not be letter-boxed, so you won’t get to see all the cool sets in the original way the director intended. If you want to protest this decision, there’s an on-line petition you can sign. (Update: The petition was successful!)
