Sotheby's Dahl Auction

Well, Dahl–fans, this was the first big payoff of my 1998 trip to London. I paid a visit to Sotheby's auction house on New Bond Street to inquire about the Dahl Charity Auction reported to have taken place last fall. The man there was extremely helpful and sold me one of the catalogs that answered all of my questions.

The auction took place on Wednesday, September 24, 1997 at 7 pm. The lots were on view at Sotheby's for the four days preceding the sale. All profits went to benefit the Roald Dahl Foundation. If you want to know more, check out the Catalog pages below!
