"The Twits" Show Program

Welcome to this Belgrade Theatre production of The Twits. This show was Made in Coventry, originally being staged at The Belgrade in the spring of 1999 where it was an immediate hit. Since then we have been working on the show to make it even more exciting and are now proud to be mounting this major national tour.

New plays and musicals and theatre for young peole have always been priorities for the Belgrade. Since I became Theatre Director in 1996 I have tried to continue the theatre's great traditions as well as developing new ways of working. In the last five years we have succeeded in building a new reputation for a unique blend of community involvement and high professional standards. This has involved producing exciting new work which often springs out of our community. I feel The Twits is a great example of the things that are important to us at The Belgrade. I hope you enjoy it.
