Dahl's House in Dar es Salaam

This photo was sent to me by a man who lived for some time in Dar es Salaam. He was told that this house was the one that Dahl lived in during his stay there in the 30's. At this time I can't confirm or deny this, but it's an interesting thought!

I got an e-mail from Mark Prior who writes:

Just looking at your website and the picture of Roald Dahl' s house in Dar es Salaam. I lived in the house for 4 years in the 70's with my parents, it was still the Shell house at the time. I can confirm that it was the house that Roald Dahl lived in and is shown in the photos in 'Going Solo'.
